Children's Reasoning about Peer Rejection based on Status is a three-year project that examines children's reasoning about peer rejection in different ethnic backgrounds in and around London. Children often make decisions about whom to exclude from play based on social groups (e.g., ethnicity). Unfortunately, peer exclusion or rejection results in lower academic and psychosocial adjustement. In an increasingly multi-cultural Britain, prejudice reduction is necessary for the well-being of children from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

This website provides up-to-date information about the project, methods, findings, and publications.
